Chicago, appeared to experience the worst of the violence on Saturday as 63 people were injured and 17 were killed, including two children. Meanwhile in New York City, 37 people were injured and at least four were killed.

Nancy Pelosi Slams Donald Trump: ‘The President Himself Is A Hoax’
July 2 - On Thursday, Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi slammed President Donald Trump as a “hoax,” The Hill reported.

In an interview with MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle, Pelosi pointed out that Trump has repeatedly used the term “hoax” to describe different events and allegations.

“He’ll say this is a hoax, and it’s a hoax that [Russia is] 24/7 trying to disrupt our elections like they did in 2016. He says that coronavirus is a hoax,” the top Democrat said.

“The fact is, the president himself is a hoax.”

Scuffles break out as National Guard moves in to disperse protesters blocking entrance to Trump’s Mt. Rushmore event
July 4 - It has come to a face-off between the National Guard and protesters blocking the road to Mount Rushmore, which is set to host US President Donald Trump’s rally, after they refused to back down. Arrests have been reported.With several hours left until Trump’s ‘Salute America’ event to mark Independence Day at the Mount Rushmore National Memorial in South Dakota on Friday, an estimated 200 to 300 protesters have effectively made the road leading into the venue impassible.    more
